However, my other one (my inspiration blog on tumblr) gets posts pretty frequently. Not all of its my work. In fact, most of it isn't. I share my inspiration on there.</div><div>Anyway,</div><div>I'll tryyyyy to keep this one more up to date.</div><div>However, if you feel like you want to see more stuff from me more often, please check my <a href="http://flickr.com/dauphinepoole2">flickr</a>and my <a href="http://miceandmittens.tumblr.com/">tumblr</a>. Since I've recently started doing more artwork, I'm sure there will be more original work on both soon.</div><div>Also, quick mention of the sale still on-going in my <a href="http://www.etsy.com/shop/miceandmittens">etsy</a>. And as soon as I get the work scanned for my portfolio, I'll be adding new things to the shop.</div><div><br /></div><div>Ok, now for a quick update with my art.</div></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGnf7w6MWn-ykoOw-iTgGKeRNQ0ROxMq_5kA6cl_yFY4tsZXiVD6B8KbFL505aMLVfbZ-LXwfBzW-rSpF2CGJqAsu7VPttXdCdGqYKpD0idptJejmGCu1ujI0XwiLTHI1wNMo_tlaT1ZKM/s1600-h/DSC02281.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 242px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhGnf7w6MWn-ykoOw-iTgGKeRNQ0ROxMq_5kA6cl_yFY4tsZXiVD6B8KbFL505aMLVfbZ-LXwfBzW-rSpF2CGJqAsu7VPttXdCdGqYKpD0idptJejmGCu1ujI0XwiLTHI1wNMo_tlaT1ZKM/s320/DSC02281.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431542570466806434" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTaAnt4T4KhUrhJl29ojftTMexWXDG7bOiESagsOiOf_UGK8wTsHQbxHlTjzjot1urgQOjUhm2ytnE9-5WLR2Bu9KTv545381MmiJg-9zxZbqEjLH6d4SgB8jD8ajNRtyLJoJ1INMp36hg/s1600-h/DSC02288.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 229px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgTaAnt4T4KhUrhJl29ojftTMexWXDG7bOiESagsOiOf_UGK8wTsHQbxHlTjzjot1urgQOjUhm2ytnE9-5WLR2Bu9KTv545381MmiJg-9zxZbqEjLH6d4SgB8jD8ajNRtyLJoJ1INMp36hg/s320/DSC02288.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431542562900049858" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiONvN8o_zogWN0hEfWC1_s2CfCFDzmtKb_QdBE11hVnD0bpwnVTWWeXbpywDH2qYvMO-8CPjSK9b2CM9R_PMFbBpfXxpdRk7Wkmql3MlM90QwU5b5JoekaD6OeWd6p0E-N8tPlHjEBQWsM/s1600-h/12157_1078502342237_1816621755_161242_5456833_n.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 320px; height: 256px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiONvN8o_zogWN0hEfWC1_s2CfCFDzmtKb_QdBE11hVnD0bpwnVTWWeXbpywDH2qYvMO-8CPjSK9b2CM9R_PMFbBpfXxpdRk7Wkmql3MlM90QwU5b5JoekaD6OeWd6p0E-N8tPlHjEBQWsM/s320/12157_1078502342237_1816621755_161242_5456833_n.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431542556606888738" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpRPQnr7pIT_priy327cUJ2g9H4B4P_PFA5FkKPDk4HCLX3lf_OWqGPa6BaW3Dsr75Xzx6maympMiztMbInsiM5PG6rXxAjGkOyvSVuCHRxGoCAaggkXtKRalNIv2083RrMqguWkKg-346/s1600-h/DSC02358.JPG"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 214px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpRPQnr7pIT_priy327cUJ2g9H4B4P_PFA5FkKPDk4HCLX3lf_OWqGPa6BaW3Dsr75Xzx6maympMiztMbInsiM5PG6rXxAjGkOyvSVuCHRxGoCAaggkXtKRalNIv2083RrMqguWkKg-346/s320/DSC02358.JPG" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431542550497005762" /></a><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTQI0K2UnQsE0TxhEBagyzpOIZivSjz62gLPYZmcOWX1xbqzIhv-1XhLxuNaFIApaZeoJJ9FyWuPCiSPEut0qoqo0vTfA_Ja-3N55-ZsT69UH2ASfzXqCt51pjvgB5S7MQ-huxbUytrwiZ/s1600-h/DSC02367_2.jpg"><img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 110px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjTQI0K2UnQsE0TxhEBagyzpOIZivSjz62gLPYZmcOWX1xbqzIhv-1XhLxuNaFIApaZeoJJ9FyWuPCiSPEut0qoqo0vTfA_Ja-3N55-ZsT69UH2ASfzXqCt51pjvgB5S7MQ-huxbUytrwiZ/s320/DSC02367_2.jpg" border="0" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5431542543249780258" /></a><br />Goodness, there has been so much in the last few months, that I only really have room for a few. My family didnt like the clothes I picked out. They werent “for 8 year old little girls” or something like that. Well, I told them that when I had my own children, I would dress the really wacky then. Mom anounces loudly that I’m also going to name my children things like “Poop” and “Marshmallow Snot”. -.- Thus, I had to draw Marshmallow Snot Jones. <3 :]<br /></div>Of Mice and Mittenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05038526109009514501noreply@blogger.com3tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693490517025612756.post-48805627257300678162009-07-22T20:23:00.000-07:002009-07-22T20:25:34.992-07:00"Lonely."<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjWIZbCf8DaqHFsHjK3tqoGlnAE2pJy55HfI7WuUTYC52t_YgwyJR6bO20gW-a5tuvepMLThnUBB1y9AFInI3AdK3lwjMo6mgQFIYhCZoUJg67J9gEsugPoe7tI3Y_wGOs44xso1MNRRhPJ/s1600-h/lonely_small.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; Poole". Its a name I made up because I got bored with my own. I came up with it on a trip to New Orleans I took with my family. There is a street named "<span class="blsp-spelling-error" id="SPELLING_ERROR_2">Dauphine</span>" and I loved it. And at this <span class="blsp-spelling-corrected" id="SPELLING_ERROR_3">cemetery</span> there was a tomb I loved that had the name "Poole" on it. So I smushed them together and threw in the "J".<br />Sadly, its become rather confusing to have "DJP" on my art for my store, and my real name on everything else (school work included). And some people have begun to think that my real name is copying me-- my pen name.<br />So I've decided to shed the pen name.<br />Now. This poses another problem. My last name has changed once already, and it will change again sometime soon. And then, when I get married (wayyyy down the road, lol.) It will change again. So. To avoid further confusion to me or anyone else on that front, I'll now be signing all of my art by my first name. Mackenzie. (For school.) Or Zie. (My nickname. For everything else.)<br /><br />Sorry for any confusion! :/<br /><br /><3 With love,<br />Zie.Of Mice and Mittenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05038526109009514501noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693490517025612756.post-66632805902864269182009-07-15T23:12:00.000-07:002009-07-15T23:15:32.192-07:00Some sketches.<a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5HfZ4SIbpPCloipSVOSyAYpCHZTgqN0eaHeAzPwpujdiXJbf0Aj0q_QIJHFEcr4R34m6-3eCM-Co_to_6q2YsOEVYmANC3r8fVzQvslaa55_z8o20HFCR2ysV_rUUrGJrrqM1ZLG0Y6fl/s1600-h/Talula.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 250px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5HfZ4SIbpPCloipSVOSyAYpCHZTgqN0eaHeAzPwpujdiXJbf0Aj0q_QIJHFEcr4R34m6-3eCM-Co_to_6q2YsOEVYmANC3r8fVzQvslaa55_z8o20HFCR2ysV_rUUrGJrrqM1ZLG0Y6fl/s320/Talula.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358937417413492994" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Talula.<br /><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvBZnh-8assfU7kYl05RzYlfqRUhbWtCS-m9M1c_1CysrJ926A8D1qx4NDUuYu2MPkRBudBdLgf-ifPpojYDUQpL9-7i0phTG39y7BClVqKk4R0oOK8pDNztZB_IjtIJn_uPkTZo3IyfWn/s1600-h/baker.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 320px; height: 237px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjvBZnh-8assfU7kYl05RzYlfqRUhbWtCS-m9M1c_1CysrJ926A8D1qx4NDUuYu2MPkRBudBdLgf-ifPpojYDUQpL9-7i0phTG39y7BClVqKk4R0oOK8pDNztZB_IjtIJn_uPkTZo3IyfWn/s320/baker.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358937414021442834" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Baker the Bug Boy, Raised by Bugs.<br /><br /></div><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBgG5VBzQFAFELRw_yuE_94RGjLz_qq8lChgrdw1iOkcHT_UTPHNRvbwaKuWFJUs-fE0i1k-LDDOGtDmWSZWc6XxcHIFCSXLCwwlVMfPmkGgVBHP83CKpfTd2Hy44uGhDibRS0GPWm6TvP/s1600-h/ouchee.jpg"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 257px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBgG5VBzQFAFELRw_yuE_94RGjLz_qq8lChgrdw1iOkcHT_UTPHNRvbwaKuWFJUs-fE0i1k-LDDOGtDmWSZWc6XxcHIFCSXLCwwlVMfPmkGgVBHP83CKpfTd2Hy44uGhDibRS0GPWm6TvP/s320/ouchee.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5358937409532964162" border="0" /></a><br /><div style="text-align: center;">Ouchee. She's part of this new little "Farmland" series I'm working on...<br />She's Mouse Peaches little sister, and she's learning how to cook. (Just like me!) She also loves sweet little dresses, but dont tell her brother! And happy 4th to all of its beautiful citizens! How has everyone else been spending their 4th?<br />Me? Well, I woke up late (as usual... I mean, I'm 17 and its Summer time...), did some class work, worked on a new banner for my blog, <a href="http://miceandmittens.etsy.com/">store</a>, and <a href="http://flickr.com/dauphinepoole2">flickr</a>, and drawing in general. My family has been getting ready for a camping trip, so we didnt do a picnic, or any of that. :/ But, I've had a pretty good day without any of that.<br />Tonight, our celebrations include: watching Supernatural! (or a lovely tea)Morning,<br />Its about noon here now, but I've been up since 8. (That alone is insanity. Its summer. I'm a high schooler... lol.) But I went to bed about 4 (normal for me), thus totaling at 4 hours of sleep. Why did I wake up so early with so little sleep, you may ask? Well, I'm still a bit stumped at that one myself... I just woke up. And although I'm still very sleepy, I guess my body understood the amount of work that I have to get done today. :/<br />Today's schedule: 3 pm- eye doctor, rest of the day- 1. get class work done (didnt do any yesterday, so I now have a build up of three classes today, and two tomorrow.) 2. clean, 3. attempt to get some new products loaded to the store, 4. sleep.<br />1 & 2 are going to require the most effort and time.<br />But anyway, yesterday, I spent the day out and about with my best friend (Kirsten Elizabeth) and my sister (Tringte). Total blast!<br /><div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS1q5zRRzcuNURfP29YAl71cDD0yTPoD4Zxj7rfbSSOMREhqBVTdXtjO4pzmSoXUODnRHEyzo1Q_kvDND00-PHAEbbx9Z21MYozB7bYx-7xytHpn48xip-f0jC57P8CyuOXdvhBSRuwzh2/s1600-h/unload_01+266.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhS1q5zRRzcuNURfP29YAl71cDD0yTPoD4Zxj7rfbSSOMREhqBVTdXtjO4pzmSoXUODnRHEyzo1Q_kvDND00-PHAEbbx9Z21MYozB7bYx-7xytHpn48xip-f0jC57P8CyuOXdvhBSRuwzh2/s320/unload_01+266.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353164865123154594" border="0" /></a><br />(Kirsten, the Red and Obnoxious.)<br /></div> <div style="text-align: center;"><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYKjp7TsL7_GZ8ny570tGyDrO_ycKpSc7zelBxRqRX7-xZeiuPg7q7hJ2zCKkG_d9NlP3TaWT4PmKL1AKQzFyKQP0lMl5dnNaiI9HSt_H8x15UG3kKHbMmtjLOYijwzTs3bdzsMHp8UXLz/s1600-h/unload_01+265.JPG"><img style="margin: 0px auto 10px; display: block; text-align: center; cursor: pointer; width: 240px; height: 320px;" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYKjp7TsL7_GZ8ny570tGyDrO_ycKpSc7zelBxRqRX7-xZeiuPg7q7hJ2zCKkG_d9NlP3TaWT4PmKL1AKQzFyKQP0lMl5dnNaiI9HSt_H8x15UG3kKHbMmtjLOYijwzTs3bdzsMHp8UXLz/s320/unload_01+265.JPG" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5353164861519635234" border="0" /></a><br />(Trintge, the Shy and Rarely Photographed.)<br /></div><br />We left home about 4, shopped at a local shopping center (Turkey Creek, and no... there are sadly no turkies... or a creek for what I can tell.), ate at this new little frozen yogurt place (Menchies, A-MAZ-ING), went to a movie (Year One, pretty funny, a bit stupid... def. a Jack Black movie.), and finally came home about 11. Then we just relaxed, watched some tv, and talked. Overall, a very lovely day.<br /><br />Anyway, <a href="http://menchies.com/">Menchies</a>. Is. Heaven. In. Your. Mouth. Seriously. But, after July 4th, it should slow down just a bit.<br />Anyway, I just started my online art classes earlier this week: Photography, Illustration, Graphic Design and Retail (How you connect to the consumer) and they have completely taken over my life. My clean room... cluttered with new supplies that I have yet to find a home for. My friends... are claiming that they've forgotten what I look like. My sleeping patterns... roll into bed about 2 a.m., fall asleep around 3 or 4... and wake up at 12-2 pm. Lol. (Whether the latter is because of my new classes or because I stay up late watching Harper's Island and Supernatural with my family... its up for debate, lol.)<br />But, add onto all of that... my computer died. :/ The screen went completely black and refused to be fixed. So, we bought my sister a new lap top and I got her old one. And me and this thing are going to be battling one another until Dec. 5th (my 18th birthday!) when I'll be getting a new Mac notebook! :D (I dream of being able to say "I'm a Mac. :]" Rather than "I'm a p.c. :/")<br />Anyway, I'll be uploading some pics of some projects I'm working on after dinner...<br />Love you all madly. :] <br /></div><h1><span><span style="font-size:85%;"><br /></span></span></h1> <h1> </h1></div>Of Mice and Mittenshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/05038526109009514501noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8693490517025612756.post-21153879261636802482009-06-17T16:30:00.000-07:002009-06-17T17:20:54.398-07:00Beene, Lood, Mouse William, and Mouse Wilber are pleased to meet you!<div align="center"> A fresh new batch of products just uploaded.
